Milan Design Week 2010

Kada sam poslednji put pročitala  naslov "Sve sa sajma nameštaja u Milanu"u jednom uticajnom srpskom časopisu za dizajn enterijera, prosto sam se naježila. Prvo, što me reč "sajam" i više nego asocira na pijacu, drugo iz razloga svođenja nedelje dizajna u Milanu, na izložbeni salon nameštaja.

Poznati dizajner James Irvine je još u vreme  dok je bio student izjavio da je April mesec koji ga inspiriše na Milano, kada se čitav grad transformiše u jedinstveni prostor namenjen  predmetima dizajna.

I ja priznajem, da je grad tada zaista poseban, ili bolje rečeno tad otkriva svoje pravo lice, gde se umetnost, dizajn i stvranost spajaju u jedno. Ne bih rekla da su predmeti dizajna umetnički radovi, kao što mnogi definišu, jer oni su pre svega namenjeni "za nekog" i "za nešto", jednostavno korisni. Međutim, ono što fascinira i što me tera da umetnost i dizajn spojim u jedno jeste taj "Italian way" za smislom lepog ( savršenog). 

Poslednjih dana, među gomilom pristiglih mailova i poziva za iščekivane događaje, izdvojila sam one koji zaista jesu "alla milanese"!!!

Conceived by two creators, 'kagayaki' combines japanese architect akihisa hirata's spiraling polyhedral screen structure with japanese artist's kyota takahashi's vibrant projected video images, which burst with color. The structure resembles a living organism with a three-dimensional twisting and curling design which measures approximately 6 metres in height, 8 metres in width and is 40 metres deep. for the exhibition, approximately 20 projectors will be arranged multilaterally
to display high-definition, high-resolution images along the screen that transform and shift in succession at various angles, creating a kaleidoscope-like effect over the 650m2 installation space.
